Recreo 6

She stripped down and smiled at me.
Her bones were inflamed by the wrong sparks.
She undressed with the grace no one else has ever learnt.
She looked at her reflection and cried her heart out.
Why is that, my love? Why?
How come we do not touch, how come we never smile?
The joke is lacking punchlines, the scar reveals the stolen life.
And the pain...
She stared at me, seeking desire.
Seeking the passion no one ever gave her.
As she bared and her eyes turned gray
she smiled at me.
In her pupils I saw
All rotten days and rancid thoughts
flooded by the bitter tears.
She smiled at me.
She stripped down
and smiled at me.

And I smiled back.
